Trunk or Treat

Here are some pictures from our church Halloween party. The kids had a blast. The hit item was the bouncy castle. I wish I would have taken a picture of them jumping in it. There is even a picture of me. I dressed up as a banana.

He's 4!!!!!

Car 2 is 4 years old. I can't believe it. Where has the time gone. It seems like only a little time has past. My first born is growing up to be such a fun little boy. He is so sweet. He is always telling us he love us and he says his brother is his best friend.

Happy Birthday Bean.

Look Who's 2!!!

That's right Car 2 is now 2. We celebrated last night at his favorite place in the world. Chuck E. Cheese's. He just loves that place it has everything he wants food and games.

Car 1 had fun as well. He got to open his presents there also. His birthday is on Tuesday. We had planned to do both parties at once but Car 1 insisted on having his party at home. So we are going to have a small family thing on Tuesday.

This is Car 2 having a great time with his favorite gun game. He puts coins in and plays them both at once.

Chuck E. Cheeses was super crowded. At one point I lost track of Car 2 I didn't know where he went and it seemed everyone else lost track of him too. I found him just like this. He was watching all the people play skee balls.

I guess my kids like to climb because Car 1 was found climbing on the basketball game just a few minutes later.

Car 2 is a tiny bit short for his age and has been wearing 12 month jeans but I decided to try him in 18 months size. Well as you can see from the above picture they came off pretty easy. He was climbing up the jungle gym and he was standing on his pants. They just kept getting lower and lower on him. Just as he was going into the tunnel at the top I saw his pants fall off. I tried to get Car 1 to go and help him but you know how well 3 year olds listen sometimes. A nice little boy chased Car 2 around the tunnels carrying his pants until Car 2 finally took them back. I tried to get his pants back on but he just ran off to play some more.

All in all I think that he had a great birthday.

He has an appointment with the doctor on Wednesday so I will post about that after we go.

Car 1 says the funniest things sometimes. This week it was homecoming for the local high school. On Thursday night they had a parade that went down town. I had forgotten all about it and had asked Corey to bring home pizza. Well I guess that he had to go this really round about way and he was kind frustrated when he got home. Here is the conversation that we had when he got home.

Corey: (annoyed) What was with the parade down town?

Me: Oh it is Tivy's homecoming parade.

Corey: (annoyed, Tivy was his high schools rival) Brother.

Car 1: (trying to sound annoyed) I hate parades.

Me: You have never been to a parade.

Car 1: I still hate parades.

Me: Car 1 they throw candy at parades.

Car 1: (sounding interested) Oh.

Corey: It is always the nasty kind of candy. Plus parades are just out dated.

Me: What do you mean out dated?

Corey: Like they would have been fun before TV or video games.

Car 1: Mom I just hate parades.

After that I just gave up.

Wish I had a Picture!!!!!

Car 1 is getting so big. He likes to make his own chocolate milk. He climbs up and get a glass out of the cupboard. He gets the gallon of milk out of the fridge. He is even getting big enough to pour the milk into the glass. I make him let me put the nesquick in because he puts toooooo much. I can't believe that he is getting so grown up and independent. A few days ago while Car 1 was getting himself some chocolate milk the funniest thing happened. He got his cup out of the cupboard and poured his milk into it. I think he must have been planning on putting the chocolate in himself because up to this point he had not told me he wanted chocolate milk. I was in the other room cleaning and he came running in and he was really upset. He kept saying "My milk that thing is in my milk." I had no idea what he was talking about. I started asking him questions because I had no idea he had milk. He was starting to cry and he kept saying "The thing on the window is in my milk." I could not figure what the heck he could be talking about. By now I decided to go in the kitchen and find out what was going on. When I got there I saw his cup on the counter and the gallon of milk was sitting on the floor. I asked him what was going on and he said that he was scared of his milk. I looked in his cup carefully because I didn't know what was in there or where it came from. I found a gecko floating in his glass of milk. I really wished that I had my camera. Right now there are quite a few geckos around our yard and sometimes they get into the house. I guess it must have been in the glass and he just didn't see it before he poured the milk in. Poor Car 1 is now a little afraid to get his own glass for chocolate milk.
