A few months ago my boss asked us if we wanted to adopt a highway. It sounded like a good idea at the time. We adopted a 2 mile stretch of highway a short time later. Saturday was the first time that we had to clean it. Some of the people that said they would help were suddenly busy. Isn't that how it always goes? We planned to meet at the store at 7 am. To our surprise 16 people showed up to pick up trash. We split into groups and had a blast. We found some interesting things. We are already planning our next clean-up in September. Here are some pictures from that morning.
