IS IT SUMMER???

Man I think that summer was trying to arrive very early this year. Yesterday at my house it was 92 degrees. Yes that is right 92. We have had a pretty mild winter compared to other years and compared to most of you that read my blog. However, this is not all good. Because of out
lack of rain fall and cool weather there has been a record number of fires in the area. I hope that the nice weather sticks around but I hope it is not a stepping stone to hotter weather for the summer. I will be thinking of all you people that are in winter weather areas as I am enjoying the wonderful weather here.

Today the weather was a little cooler it was in the 70's. The wind was blowing making it feel a little cooler than it was.

Me A-Z!!!!

A- attached or single? Attached to a great Husband.



B- best friend? This has to be my husband.



C- cake or pie? Cake. Especially from the Albertson's bakery.



D- day of choice? Sunday or Wednesday. I get to spend those two days with my kids and husband.



E- essential item? Carmex. Well right now anyway it is kinda dry here right now.



F- favorite color? Yellow.



G- gummy bears or worms? Bears if they are cinnamon and worms if they are sour.



H- hometown? Somewhere in Utah.



I- favorite indulgence? Just like homemade Albertson's chocolate chip cookies. Really these are the best you should try them if you have a store nearby.



J- january or july- This year I will have to take January. It was just beautiful this past January. The mid 60's Perfect.



K- kids? 2 boys, cute as can be.



L- life isn't complete without? Great family and good friends.



M- marriage date? June



N- number of brothers and sisters? 3 brothers, one older, one younger, and one "baby" brother; 1 younger sister.



O- oranges or apples? Oranges or green granny smith apples.



P- phobias or fears? I have a phobia of calling people I don't know or don't know well. If it wasn't for Alice I might not be married to my great husband (she had to call him like the first 2 or 3 times because I was too scared).



Q- quote?

R- reason to smile? All the cute things my boys do. Car 1 says the funniest things sometimes.

S- season of choice? Spring or fall. Not too hot and not too cold. Plus there is so many changes in nature during those seasons.

T- tag 3 people! Jen, Alice, Rookie, anybody else.

U- unknown fact about me? I decided that I like to read. I have read 12 books since Christmas.

V- vegetable? I like most vegetables. I do not like brussle sprouts or peas. I will try anything once.

W- worst habit- Letting my 3 year old sleep on the couch with the tv on. He is such a night owl and I have to get up at 6 am so I just turn on the tv and I go to bed. He either sleeps on the couch or he comes into my room and sleeps with me and Corey.

Y- your favorite food? Italian, any thing Italian.

Z- zoo animal? I like to see the monkeys or the penguins. They are always so active most of the other animals are just laying aroud.

At the Store

The Car brothers love to go to the grocery store. They don't like to shop and don't really like me to shop either. They just love to ride in this blue whale cart. I think that this is the best thing ever invented. I can put both Car brothers in and off we go. They are fine until I stop then Car 1 jumps out and heads of the toy section. I'm sure that if Car 2 could get his seatbelt off he would be right there with his brother.


Also the baby neice is suppose to come home today.

Bad News

My baby neice that is only about 6 weeks old is in the hospital. Our family has got the flu and the little baby seems to have gotten it too. I don't know how bad it is and I don't know how long she will be there. If you could please keep them in your prayers. My sister-in-law seems to be having some bad luck lately. First a c-section, then her gallbladder, and now this. I will keep you posted.

Sometimes I think that I would rather get sprayed by a scunk that give my 15 month old son a breathing treatment.

I have read tips on how to make it a good experience. One of the suggestions is to give the child a toy to play with. I, however, do not agree. My little Car 2 took his toy and hit me in the nose. It hurt really bad so I grabbed the toy and threw it across the room. While throwing my son's toy I lost my wedding rings. I had a huge bump and bruise on my nose and it throbbed everytime I bent down, but at least I found my rings.

The Girls

All my life I have been very close to my cousin Jordan and my sister Julie. It is almost like we are all three sisters. My Mom babysat Jordan when she was younger. We all spent alot of time together at our grandma's house. I grew up thinking that everyone has this type of bond with their sisters and cousins. At work we spend more time than we should talking about our lives, I have found that there are many who do not even see their cousins or siblings that much. I am very glad that my family has formed a stong bond with each other. We recently spent a girls weekend together and I was able to spend time with most of the girls on my Mom's side of the family. We had a great time. I have been telling people about it and some seemed surprised that I would want to spend time with my Mom/sister let alone my grandma/aunts/& cousin. Personally it surprised me that they wouldn't want to spend time with family. I can't help but think that our church has something to do with it. I was raised my whole life to think of family as a presious thing. I am so greatful for that. Where would I be without the love and support of my family?


I wanted to share some of my Vegas pictures and thought it would be nice to let my family know that I love them and miss them. I would like to know if any of you have strong family ties not just to siblings but to aunts or cousins. Is it just me or just a mormon thing?
